The Historic Stoner House

Located in Lancaster, PA, the Historic Stoner House was built in 1750 when its owner paid homage to their British leader, King George II. After 10 years of restoration, the house became the home for the Manheim Township Historical Society, educational museum, and repository of Manheim Township's historical artifacts.

The Historic Stoner House and outdoor patio is available to rent for your private events. Our unique historic farmhouse filled with cozy character provides an ideal setting for parties, showers, small weddings, fundraisers, family reunions, memorial services, and meetings.

About the Township

For over 200 years since its establishment, Manheim Township would have been described as a small and tranquil farming community. The Township's topography and proximity to suitable farm land and transportation helped to stimulate a stable rural economy at the edge of the City of Lancaster. However, the Township historically has been host to schools and various businesses that defined the community. Learn more about our exciting transformation!

Open Saturdays from 10:00am to 1:00pm, April 2021 to November 2021. Will reopen Saturday, April 2, 2022.
